Year 3 spent this morning in the kitchen combining our rocks and soils science unit with cooking to make Rocky Roads. This also allowed us to put into practice our weight measuring skills that we learnt earlier this term in Maths.
This also helped us to remember the difference between rocks and minerals. The rock is like the Rocky Road Biscuit made up of lots of different minerals (the ingredients).
