G'day mate!

Strewth! I made it all the way to the other side of the world!

Here I am in Sydney, Australia and you can see three famous things in the photo. The Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and me!!



I've had a good look around some other cities - Melbourne and Brisbane - and I met some rellies* too...





One of them sleeps for 18 hours a day, which sounds like a good idea. I think I might try it!

Do you know, I like it so much here, I might stay for a bit! Do you think you could get along at Oakwood without me for a while? Promise to keep things tidy? I might have to send some friends to check up on you...

*Australian slang for "relatives"...

Out in Hong Kong...

Phew!

It's 32°C out here in Hong Kong! (Almost too hot for my Oakwood jumper!)



I really like Hong Kong - here I am sitting on my hotel balcony above the harbour.

There are some fantastic buildings, which look really spectacular at night...



...and all the streets are really busy and bustling - there's always something going on 24 hours a day.



I even had a ride on an old Chinese junk in the harbour and saw some of the older buildings right next to the new skyscrapers!



I'm off to Australia next!

Going for a walk in Yorkshire...

After lazing about at the seaside, (and eating chips...!), I thought I'd better get some exercise!

Here I am having a rest after a walk in the Yorkshire Dales (about 230 miles away from Oakwood as the bear flies...)



In the background is the Ribblehead Viaduct, which you can see on the map below (just where my little icon is). Zoom in for a closer look - you can see the railway line going over the top - I had a ride on the train too!
