The children in Year R all took part in a Nativity play. They entertained us by their beautiful singing, dancing and story telling and we are really proud of their performance. Well done to everyone involved who supported in organising costumes, props and learning lines to help make it such a success. A real Christmas treat.

Year 6 Leavers' Production

Our Year 6 Pupils say their first goodbye to Oakwood, remembering and celebrating some of their favourite events.

A brilliant production, with emotional songs ("When I Grow Up" made Mr Taylor cry!) and excellent acting!

Thank you for entertaining us, and a really big Thank You to all the ex "Mr Taylors" who turned up to reprise their role from previous years! (That made the real Mr Taylor cry as well!)

Panto Pandemonium!

Years 4 and 6 were our final year groups to entertain us with their Christmas performance yesterday - and what a cracker it was!

The evil witch was trying to take over all the pantos in the land, and make the baddies win. It was up to 5 courageous Oakwood Pupils to save the day by collecting objects from Panto-Land.

All's well that ends well, and good overcame evil.

Another brilliant performance to make us all proud! Well done Years 4 and 6!

Whoops-A-Daisy Angel!

Year R have treated us to a fantastic first Christmas performance over the past two days.

They told the story of "Whoops-A-Daisy Angel", who keeps getting things wrong - her halo is wonky, her dress is a mess and she is just so clumsy!

However, she ends up with the most important job of all - and does it brilliantly!

OSA Summer Fete!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who planned, prepared, helped, came along, spent money, had a burger or an ice cream, played a game, had a flutter on a raffle, picked a tombola ticket, sang, danced, won a coconut, golfed, kicked a goal, nerfed a target, had their nails or face painted, designed a mask, had a cuppa and a cake, climbed or jumped over obstacles, or, in Ms Patchett's case, got gunged!

The OSA Summer Fete was a massive success and a lovely community event - a wonderful day for the Oakwood Family!

Thank you!
