Thank you all for your amazing support today. The school has looked really colourful with everyone in their PJs. You all helped raise a fantastic £386.74 for BBC Children in Need.
We've had a very busy term, and we've put on a lot of events already...
(Our Macmillan Coffee Morning raised £1132 and Year 6's Victorian Fayre raised £665...)
...so we decided to keep things a little more low key for Children in Need this year.
Nonetheless, our small bits of loose change managed to raise £245.48, so thank you very much...
The BBC Children in Need appeal raised over £50 million on Friday evening, with more to come in, and has raised over £1 billion since it first started in 1980.
Oakwood is proud to have played its part. Thank You!

Superheroes, Clowns and Father Christmas!
The school is awash this morning with Superheroes, princesses, and onsies, We were even visited by James Bond and Father Christmas. Of course, this was all done to raise as much money as possible for Children in Need: each child was asked to contribute a pound. Our final total (at the time of writing) was £363.91. Well done Oakwood.

A huge thank you to you all at Oakwood for searching your pockets and purses for 1ps and 2ps today. We raised a fantastic total of £220.00 and had great fun covering a very large Pudsey with all our money.
