Farm Fun!

On Friday 30th April, Year 3 took part in NACE's "Go Wild on a Farm" event. They were lucky enough to be offered a completely free trip to a local farm to learn more about country life.



We learned all about caring for cows and the conservation of minibeasts. We also had the chance to get up close to a tractor and combine harvester. But our favourite activity was the trailer ride! We travelled all round the farm, saw the fields of oilseed rape, barley and wheat and learned about what they eventually get turned into, and even saw some free range chickens!
