Once there were creative book designers......

As part of World Book Day 2014, Year 6 redesigned the front cover of our current class novel 'Once' by Morris Gleitzman. 

Once is a cleverly crafted, very emotional story of Felix-a young Jewish boy living through World War Two. Through his story, children learn what it must have been like to be a child during the Holocaust; forced to grow up far too quickly.

Children were given free choice as to which art media they could use to create their new covers. Take a look at the stunning results:-
