Year 4 Young Composers

History tells us that musical genius can be seen at a young age. Mozart is reported to have composed the symphony 1 in E flat major (most people's favourite symphony in E flat) when he was 8 years old, which is the same age as many of our year 4.

Therefore, there were no excuses for high quality composition - when they were asked to write, practice and perform a piece of music that included ostinato (repeating patterns).    .
