Wick Court 2008

Children from Year 5 had a very exciting time at Wick Court in Gloucestershire. It's an old manor house with a moat (now dry!) which is now a working farm. And the children have to work on it for a week.

They do everything from mucking out to milking! They also learn to weave, to make cheese and bread, to feed the pigs and chickens and they also go on some very long walks over some beautiful countryside...



Zoom out on the map and you'll see that Wick Court sits on a piece of land surrounded by a wide loop of the River Severn.

It would be really hard to tell you about everything the children did and saw during the week, so why not have a look at the photo albums...

Wick court looks really fun, I wished I could have gone there when I was in Year 5!!!
