Commemorating the Centenary of WWI

Year 6 have been commemorating the centenary of World War I in their work this term.

They have been reading, dramatising and writing, trying to empathise with those involved.

They also watched listened to the radio production of Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo and saw the film at the cinema.

We present evocative pieces of writing by two children, both awarded Level 6 for their achievement.
