Federation Sports Day

24 children from across Y2, Y4 and Y6 made the short journey over to Fairisle Junior School to take part in the Federation Sports Day. Oakwood, as defending champions, were keen to put on a good show and try to win the trophy for a second year running.

The groups of children competed in 8 different events during the morning against 8 other schools from our local area.

All of Oakwood's groups did really well and scored lots of points for Team Oakwood, unfortunately it wasn't to be Oakwood's day - but we did finish on the podium picking up 3rd place.

Well done to all the children who took part, and represented Oakwood in the best way possible trying their hardest and competing with excellent sportsmanship.
