Federation Sports Day

Despite all that goes on in school at this time of year we still continue to try our best at local sports events. Earlier this week is was the Redbridge and Lordshill's Federation Sport Day. Oakwood sent a team of 18 girls and boys (6 Year 2, 6 Year 4 and 6 Year 6) to test themselves against Fairisle, Newlands, Mansel Park and Redbridge.

As winners in 2 out of the previous three years Oakwood were considered the team to beat!

A huge well done to the 18 children who represented Oakwood so well. The team came close, but missed out on first place by just 50 points to first place Newlands (not very much when it was 30 points for winning a single race/event!).
