Year 6 -Year R Buddies

Having said goodbye to the school in their Y6 Leavers' Service this morning the Y6 and Y R children said goodbye to each other for the last time this afternoon.

Yr R had made cookies and Y6 had made cards which they presented to each other in what was their last buddy session this year. The Y6 children also used the last of the money they have raised this year for their leavers events to buy ice cream/lollies for everyone.

I know that the Y6 children have really enjoyed spending time with their Buddies this year and it has taught them a lot about getting on and sharing with others and how to treat and respect others.
