Year 1 have been very creative this half term and have made their very own rockets.
Having brought in a tube from home the children then made a cardboard cone and glued it to one end to create the nose of the rocket.
After that everyone papier-mâchéd their creation using newspaper and paste. Once dried, the children could then paint their rocket with a variety of different colours.
Lastly the children added finishing touches to their rockets such as wings, flames and boosters.
Don't they look fantastic!
