Oakwood v Tanners Brook

Team Oakwood played their 3rd football game of their Spring season against Tanners Brook Primary School yesterday.

Oakwood were keen to get off to a good start and pressed the Tanners Brook players into making mistakes in possession of the ball. The team created a number of good chances but hit the post or crossbar 3 times in the first half! Oakwood did finally take the lead from a corner; Jenson side-footing into the net from a low cross.

After half time Oakwood continued to make more scoring chances, however this time they managed to beat the 'keeper - further goals coming from Jenson and Jack (2). The final whistle blew with Oakwood comfortable 4-0 winners.

The Man of the Match was Will, and our goalscorers Jenson (2) and Jack (2).

Well one team, we look forward to the game next Tuesday against Shirley.
