Y5 Question of Faith Day

Year 5 were really lucky as Matt, Rev Chris and Richard came in from Southampton City Mission to lead an action packed day all about our R.E. topic 'A symbol of ritual'. Matt kicked off the day by speaking to us through his kazoo whilst juggling. After a quick quiz to find out about our favourite foods we were set the challenge to break some codes. We thought all about how rituals are something that we do again and again that has special significance. Armed with this knowledge we thought about what rituals we have. After learning about the Christian ritual of having bread and wine as communion we were set the task of collaging what Christians could pick today if they were starting the ritual of communion for the first time.
