Year 3 Photo Frames

Y2 Willow Weaving

Y2 have been very creative working with willow. Everyone made a petal which was then put together to create a larger class flower.

Great team work showing how everyone can contribute to the bigger picture making it something beautiful.

Snail Racing in Y2

Y2 have learned all about snails. They have found out which foods they found most appetizing and even had a snail race.

Transfer Day for 3LM

I am so excited to be back full time with my own class. I will miss teaching every class in the school,  but you can't beat having your own class.

This is how the new 3LM (for 2018-2019) spent their arty transfer day. Making 'Lolly Dollies' to tell their worries, hopes and dreams to; creating Positive Pants to remind us to be positive - You can do it! - These have gone home today.

We also created wonderful self-portraits in the style of Romero Britto - a Neo Pop Brazilian artist who uses vivid colour to portray, hopes, dreams and happiness.

Here is a snap shot of those that were completed.

I can't wait to see what the class and I can achieve next academic year!

ZooLab

Yesterday Year R had some interesting visitors. To end our minibeast topic, Zoolab came in to share some of their not so mini minibeasts. The children loved getting the chance to touch and hold them.

We have learned minibeasts don't have bones and one of the creatures brought in was definitely not a minibeast, can you work out what it was?

Flower Surgery in 5BW

As part of our Science life cycles unit, we have been learning how flowering plants reproduce. To identify the role of parts of the flower in the reproduction process we dissected flowers.

We had loads of fun, sorry flowers! See some pictures of our flower surgeons below.

Knapp House: Day 4

We have wi-fi again!

Yesterday was another exciting day, although we did have to wake up a few rooms before breakfast!
Surfing, coastal walking, paddle boating and a disco.

The bag packing has already begun this morning with more lost socks being waved around than we know what to do with. Then it's on to the last activity of the week before a quick shower, lunch and the trip home.

We hope to see you all around 4-5pm. We will keep you updated via the school twitter page.
