Oakwood v Holy Family

After the disappointment of last weeks football match against Tanners Brook, the school football team were eager to beat Holy Family Primary School - who had turned out to be a very strong team in our match earlier this season.

Oakwood were quick to put their front foot forward, and actually had the ball in the Holy Family net before they had even touched the ball! Passing the ball around directly from kick off, Oakwood moved down the pitch and scored with their first shot of the game. It turned in to a half that Oakwood dominated and only some last minute goal line clearances stopped Team Oakwood chalking up more than the two they had by half time.

During the second half Oakwood were finally tested but they could always rely on Ollie in goal to clean up any defences errors. Oakwood scored two more goals in the second half meaning a final score of 4-0 with was thoroughly deserved.

Man of the match Ethan. Scorers Reece (3) and Ethan (1)
